The Atlanta Hawks today acquired guard wow gold from the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Anthony Johnson, Tyronn Lue, Shelden Williams, Lorenzen Wright and a 2008 second round draft pick according to Hawks Executive Vice President/General Manager Billy Knight.

“We’re happy to be able to bring in a player of Mike’s caliber,” Knight said. “He’s one of the premier point guards in the league and a proven winner going back to his college days at Arizona. His ability to score and distribute the basketball will add a new dimension to our ballclub.”

Bibby, who missed the first 36 games of the season while recovering from surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb, averaged 13.5 points, 5.0 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals (.406 FG%, .393 3FG%, .742 FT%) in 15 games (12 starts) for the Kings this year.

Now in his 10th NBA season, Bibby boasts career averages of 16.7 ppg, 6.2 apg, 3.3 rpg and 1.3 spg (.441 FG%, .371 3FG%, .806 FT%) in 690 games with the Vancouver Grizzlies (1998-2001) and Kings (2001-08). A power leveling player throughout his career, he has played in at least 80 games during a season seven times.

A veteran of 51 playoff games, Bibby has averaged 17.9 ppg, 5.6 apg, 3.6 rpg and 1.5 spg (.418 FG%, .366 3FG%, .836 FT%) in postseason play. He led the Kings to the Western Conference Finals in 2001-02 averaging 20.3 ppg, 5.8 apg, 3.8 rpg and 1.4 spg (.444 FG%, .424 3FG%, .826 FT%) in 16 playoff games.

“Mike is a veteran point guard who knows how to run a team,” said Hawks coach wow power leveling. “He’ll bring a steady hand to the position and provide our club with stability, creativity and leadership. “Pairing him with Joe Johnson in the same backcourt will give us a number of options on the offensive side of things.”

Johnson, in his third tour of duty with the logo design, is averaging 6.4 ppg, 4.7 apg, 2.3 rpg and 1.0 spg (.423 FG%, .433 3FG%, .800 FT%) in 41 games (40 starting assignments) on the season. Lue has seen action in 33 contests (three starts), averaging 6.8 ppg, 1.8 apg and 1.2 rpg (.439 FG%, .435 3FG%, .857 FT%).

Williams, the Hawks’ first round draft pick (fifth overall) in the 2006 NBA Draft, has played in 35 games with averages of 2.9 ppg and 2.9 rebounds (.354 FG%, .673 FT%). Wright is in his second stint in Atlanta and has seen time in 12 contests (one start) this year, putting up 3.1 rpg and 0.9 ppg (.250 FG%, .500 FT%).
